Biography

Vic leads our Estate Litigation team. He has conducted numerous trials (including jury trials), appeared at all levels of Alberta’s court, and acted as counsel in Judicial Dispute Resolutions, mediations and arbitrations.

Vic has volunteered on many committees and projects to improve our profession and our community. He was a member of The Law Society of Alberta’s Conduct Committee, its Family Law Advisory Committee and its Practice Review Committee. He was involved in implementing the Civil Mediation Program at the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, and volunteered as a Judge at the University of Calgary Trial Advocacy Program for several years. Vic also contributed to the development of the Equity and Diversity Guide prepared by the Canadian Bar Association’s Standing Committee on equity and diversity.

Vic’s community leadership includes serving on many committees and boards for non-profit associations including the Calgary Jewish Centre and the Learning Disabilities Association (Calgary Chapter).
