Biography
Norm is Counsel at our firm appearing in court when needed and offering strategic advice to our clients. A hardened litigator with over 40 years of experience, Norm has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada in a variety of civil litigation matters ranging from oil and gas disputes to personal injury matters. Norm also has extensive experience in administrative law matters including before the National Energy Board, and the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board. Notably, Norm has been counsel at the Law Society of Alberta on disciplinary matters, and has acted as outside counsel for the Law Society of Alberta and for members of the bar facing disciplinary action.
