Biography
Leslie practices in the Estate Litigation, Personal Injury and Family Law groups at Vogel LLP. She helps clients strategize, prepare for and attend at all manner of hearings and dispute resolution processes, including mediations, arbitrations, questionings, chambers appearances, case conferences, pre-trial conferences and trials. Leslie has appeared before every level of the Alberta court system.
Leslie manages her own files and also works alongside senior counsel in complex matters.
Leslie’s Estate Litigation practice includes will challenges, questions of capacity and undue influence, misappropriation of estate assets, family maintenance and support claims, family property division following death, resultant trusts and matters relating to the role of litigation representatives. She is especially skilled at working on estate matters involving complex business and family disputes, such as farming operations, corporate matters and real property holdings.
In her Personal Injury practice, Leslie represents client interests in claims involving catastrophic injuries, fatalities, brain injuries, fractures and chronic pain.
Leslie excels at connecting client objectives with the legal issues at hand. She creates and implements strategies based on her keen understanding of the law and her ability to help clients gauge the impact of potential outcomes, make choices and move forward with confidence.
