Biography
After graduating from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law in 2008 and being called to the Ontario Bar in 2009, Marc began his career in labour and employment law. Since moving to Calgary in 2013, he has dedicated his practice exclusively to family law, helping clients with everything from parenting disputes to the division of complex financial assets. Marc’s strategic, detail-oriented approach ensures that even the most complex financial and parenting issues are addressed with precision.
Marc is also a certified Mediator and Arbitrator, as well as a Parenting Coordinator. These roles reflect his deep commitment to helping clients find solutions outside of Court when possible, through respectful and productive dialogue. He has represented clients in numerous mediation and arbitration settings and understands how to tailor resolution strategies to the needs of each case. When litigation is necessary, Marc is a capable and persuasive advocate, having appeared before all levels of Court in Alberta as well as the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Recognized for his expertise, Marc is a frequent presenter and speaker at legal education programs, including the National Family Law Conference and seminars for the Legal Education Society of Alberta (LESA).
Outside his practice, Marc contributes to the community as a long-standing volunteer with Calgary Legal Guidance, where he provides pro bono legal advice and support to individuals who would otherwise be unable to access representation.
