Jaclyn Finestone

Jaclyn joined Vogel LLP as a student in 2021. She primarily works in the areas of estates and family law, blending courtroom expertise with compassionate client advocacy.
Biography
Jaclyn is a recent graduate of the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2023. Prior to law school, Jaclyn obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mount Royal University in 2019, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in 2014 from the University of Alberta.
While in law school, Jaclyn was a member of the winning team in the inaugural Morrison LLP Family Law Moot, where she also received the award for top oralist of the competition. In addition, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada in the TransID Clinic, where she provided assistance to members of the transgender community. Jaclyn also dedicated her time to volunteering with the Calgary Jewish Family Loan Association.
Before embarking on her legal career, Jaclyn worked as a property manager for several years, gaining valuable experience in property law and management. Outside of her professional pursuits, Jaclyn enjoys playing sports such as hockey and tennis, as well as spending time outdoors.
