Civil Skills – Family Law Seminar

On March 8, 2014, Student Legal Assistance hosted the University of Calgary Faculty of Law’s first Family Law Seminar. The seminar focused on the procedures involved in handling a family file, as well as touching on substantive family law and client/file management.

Aida Rafie of Vogel LLP was one of the few lawyers asked to present at the seminar and acted as a facilitator for the Parenting Time Workshop. As well, Ms. Rafie was a panelist for “How to Work with Opposing Counsel” and “How to Work with Self-Represented Clients”. The seminar was well attended.
